Cloud Migration Without the Downtime Horror Stories

What usually goes wrong
Most cloud migration problems come from skipping the boring steps. Teams move fast, skip the dependency map, and find out mid-migration that three internal tools quietly relied on the old server's IP address.
The checklist we run first
Before touching a server, we map every system that depends on it, confirm a rollback plan, and schedule the move outside business hours. None of this is exciting. All of it prevents the outage that makes the news internally.
What this means for you
A migration done carefully is boring to watch. That is the goal. If your team is planning a move, start with the dependency map, not the new server.
